About

Whitticom's jewellery Design Studio I am Bronwyn Whitticom. I have always had a passion for art and love to create. From a very young age I have always said "when I grow up I want to be an artist". I started jewellery manufacturing at the tender age of 15 and displayed jewellery I had made in my matric art exhibition. I began my apprenticeship training under Peter Gilders goldsmith, at 20 (in 2004) and qualified 3 years later. In 2009 I fell pregnant with my first child and that's when Whitticom's jewellery Design Studio began. I left the position I had at Platinum Masters to start my very own business. It has been such a wonderful journey. I get to create exciting and challenging pieces daily. I love what I do and I am so blessed to do it for a living. I work from home, so I get to have my two children around me too.

I specialise in hand making any unique designs in platinum, gold or silver. I also do all jewellery repairs and resizing and well as rhodium plating. I can remodel your family heirloom into something modern and unique. Or create something completely new that you can hand down to you children one day. Whatever your jewellery needs may be I am sure I am the right person to help make your dreams come true. I am a very family oriented person and very sentimental so I have started making pendants/ charms of your children's art works. They make beautiful keepsakes. I make them by hand in Sterling silver or 9ct gold.

In 2018 I also started an NPO called The Light House of Healing NPC. I love people and God has given me a dream to give hope to the hopeless. We hope to get a house in the Milnerton area in Cape Town, where we will house and help bring complete restoration to drug addicted, destitute woman. I have created a silver Christian jewellery range called THE LIGHT JEWELLERY. It is jewellery that shines hope, each item has a biblical message and a special meaning. I will train the woman to make the jewellery and hope to even employ some of them, giving them a real hope for the future. All the profits from this range go towards this cause.

OUR VISION & MISSION

We want to create a future where every person matters, where there is hope and purpose, where people feel wanted and know that they are loved. Jesus came to tell us this, and through The The Light House of healing we want to share this with addicts. We strive to empower them with various skills, from entrepreneurial skills and jewellery manufacturing, right down to the basic skill of planting vegetable gardens to become self-sustaining. With the aim of them becoming well-adjusted adults and contributing citizens in society, through whom love and healing, can lead and help others to do the same.
